While training in a very prestigious Beverly Hills salon as a colorist, I encountered a well known actress who’s first and final lead role tanked at the box office.
She was under going severe depression, stress, and noticeably losing her hair. The other stylists were completely indifferent and ignorant about the subject. This was my first and most important lesson; what seems to other to be “no big deal” it actually is for most people.

Hair replacement goes much deeper than vanity. The psychological aspects of shame, low self esteem that some clients suffer is greatly under estimated.
